APPROVAL TO ADVERTISE REVISED SCHOOL BOARD RULE 7.771, CAPITAL ASSETS AND 5.20, STUDENT ASSIGNMENT
Description
Revisions have been made to School Board Rule 7.771, Capital Assets, to incorporate those activities relating to the capitalization, accounting, and financial reporting of intangible assets pursuant to the implementation of GASB State No. 51 effective for financial statements beginning after June 15, 2009. Additions have been made to School Board Rule 5.20, Student Assignment.
Recommendation
That the School Board of Sarasota County authorize the advertisement of School Board Rule 7.771, Capital Assets and 5.20, Student Assignment.
